Hi, I'm Yisi. I build VR, games & 3D worlds.

I'm a VR developer and 3D generalist. I pick up new tools fast and take projects from an idea to a finished product, from VR games and therapy tools to AR prototypes, animation and web apps.

About me

I like figuring things out

I'm a technical generalist working across 3D, VR, AR, software, hardware, photogrammetry and motion capture. Give me a new piece of software or hardware and I'll work out what it takes to turn an idea into something finished.

I started out making 3D animations in Blender for social media as a student in New York. That led to cofounding Nivra / TorahVR, where I've spent the past six years as CTO building educational VR that's now used in over 100 schools across 8 countries.

I'm happy building on my own or leading a team, and I usually end up working on every part of a project to get it over the finish line. I do my best work on hard problems, especially the ones where I have to learn something new to solve them.

Outside of work I make my own games, tools and websites, some of which you'll find below.

What I do

How I can help

VR apps & games

Standalone experiences for Meta Quest and Pico in Unreal Engine, with hand tracking, gaze controls, multiplayer and offline analytics.

AR & smart glasses

Apps for Meta Ray-Ban Display and other AR glasses, with Android companion apps that tie them together.

3D characters & worlds

Modelling, texturing and animation in Blender, including procedural characters built from modular parts.

Rapid prototypes

Getting from an idea to a working demo fast, including on new hardware nobody has figured out yet.

VR at scale

Deploying, locking down and maintaining hundreds of headsets around the world with device-management tools.

Websites & web apps

Fast, good-looking sites and tools, built with AI-assisted development.

360° video

Immersive 360° tours that put viewers inside real places, ready to watch in a headset.

Motion capture & scanning

Recording real performances with motion capture and scanning real objects and places with photogrammetry.

Things I've built

My own projects

Phantom Fish cover art: colourful fish flying over a beach
Game jamMeta QuestHand trackingHealth

Phantom Fish

A game-jam prototype built for the Sheba Medical game jam 2026: a VR mirror-therapy game for amputees with phantom limb pain. Your intact hand controls a mirrored virtual hand, so you see your missing limb move as you block fish flying in from the ocean.

Shortlisted by Sheba ARC, the hospital's innovation centre, for further development and testing toward deployment.

LookOut cover art: a stone prison cell
Game jamMeta QuestPuzzle

LookOut

A short game-jam entry for the Harry Houdini Centennial Game Jam: a VR escape puzzle played with your eyes only. Look at objects in your cell to set off a chain reaction of rats, moths, storms and slippery floors until the guard's key lands in reach.
